The statistics as they apply to the phenomenon which is Facebook are nothing short of staggering.
It has over 500 million users worldwide, and over 100 million users in the UnitedStates alone, and as a result Facebook is by far the largest social community website. In fact, it gets more monthly visitors than any other website on the planet - except for Google.
In addition, Facebook is getting more than 132 million unique visitors per month, and their traffic has grown by more than 45% in the last year alone. So, you might be wondering if your local business can really benefit from Facebook, and the resounding answer is YES! Now, if you’re already familiar with Facebook, and odds are that you are, you are probably thinking that I am going to recommend that you create a “fan page” for your business.
While I’m certainly not against that, I’m going to expose you to a different aspect of Facebook called “Facebook Ads,” which is Facebook’s “performance” advertising system. However, there is more on a FaceBook BUSINESS Fanpage below.
Through Facebook Ads, you can reach people interested in your product or service and do so in a variety of ways. In fact, one of the greatest things about advertising with Facebook is its flexibility.
There has never been a better way to maximize your exposure, and get your message seen by a massive amount of targeted prospects.
I offer a free book which I have written called FACEBOOK MARKETING FOR LOCAL BUSINESSES and you can get that by CLICKING HERE - it is offered in conjunction with another free book called S.E.O. FOR LOCAL BUSINESSES with this book being the one actually advertised. However, I can assure you that you will receive the FACEBOOK book also.
To get back to my Facebook BUSINESS Fanpage comment above. The use of a professional looking BUSINESS fanpage within Facebook will not only enhance the image of your business and bring you potentially new business, it will also give you a marketing tool which will save you a lot of money. When you advertise within Facebook – and do bear in mind that you can laser focus onto the specific demographics of your prospective customers – ad costs are greatly reduced by having that advertising directed to a Facebook “website”.
Here is an example of such a business site – and this is of course my own BUSINESS Fanpage – http://tiny.cc/xa5hk
If you would like to discuss how marketing on Facebook can benefit your business, then either call me direct or fill in the form on the contact page on this site.
And whatever you do, do make sure you get hold of those two FREE books I mentioned above – the information they contain is priceless and it is targeted directly at the local business person. Again, you can get the books via this link.
